In Touch With Bali Through Yoga Tour
Description
|
Day 1: Our first day in Bali will be a day of transition. We will begin with a warm welcome over breakfast at our hotel in Seminyak, not far from the airport. At 11:30 Daphna will take us through a Kundalini yoga practice at the nearby village hotel Desa Seni. After lunch here we will wash away any further tension from the journey over with a foot, shoulder and neck massage. Then we will head up the mountains to our first of two main destinations on this yoga tour of Bali. The day will finish with the Restorative Yoga session given by Cecilia.Day 2: We will greet the morning early with Cecilia’s Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Today I will introduce you to some of the meditative aspects of the Balinese culture. Iluh, a dear friend of mine who is like family to me will join us in going to the local market to select flowers, palm leaves and strips of bamboo which have been prepared to create “canang biasa”. Together we will craft these little square baskets that have woven themselves into the heart of Balinese rituals. Then Gede, another dear friend who is a priest in his village will guide us through the sequence of “sambahian”. The rest of the day is free to explore the hotel grounds, to relax and absorb all that we have learned. Then we end the day with Cecilia’s Restorative Yoga.
Day 3: After our morning Vinyasa Flow yoga we will venture out to explore the surroundings. There will be several options available for you to choose from. Day 4: Our last day in the mountains. |
